Each year, more than 275,000 books are published in North America by small presses and independent publishers. A good many of these are self-published works. Many self-publishers would benefit by exposure to the many steps and procedures that are involved in the publication of every book.
These four-hour seminars introduces writers and authors to the publishing process and discusses the pathways and gates on the journey to self-publishing. The format is informal, and each registrant is provided with abundant materials to assist them in the publication process. Today, these seminars are presented as self-publishing course at Henry Ford Community College, Center for Lifelong Learning. For information, contact HFCC at 313.317.1500 or CL2@hfcc.edu.
